DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION FOR BETTER QUALITY

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION FOR BETTER QUALITY

Embedded within our business philosophy is a firm dedication to design, manufacture and market products that meet the needs and expectations of any customer. But how do we do this? In this article we will tell you how digital transformation drives the Quality System at MRF every day, pursuing excellence across all areas of the company - strategic, operational, support, documentary... - for a single purpose: the satisfaction of those who choose us.

Starting point

The digitalization process in which our company is involved is allowing us to rely on IT to improve the efficiency of our activities, supporting creativity and innovation, making procedures more reliable, and accelerating the qualitative commitment to supply products with the best characteristics, while adjusting deadlines to the needs of our customers.

Technology helps everything to work, involving in the Quality System all the processes and organizational capacities: technical means, personnel, planning, an orderly execution, and a high level of care in each of our operations, from beginning to end. The will of constant improvement nourishes our technological portfolio, and consolidates the quality policies department by department.

Engineering

In the engineering department, digitalization has facilitated new tools, with which the workflow is becoming more efficient every day. New specific digital design and simulation software incorporated, which allowes us to make a qualitative leap in the creation and testing of prototypes, identifying and correcting possible problems from the early design stages. New stress and fatigue tests were integrated, and through advanced analysis tools we can evaluate the strength and durability of each product under simulated conditions. In short, new technologies have accelerated lead times, and continue to improve the quality and reliability of the final product.

Production

Each phase of the production process is also monitored from our Quality System. The hardware distributed throughout the factory allows our operators to periodically record the self-monitoring metrics corresponding to each process. In addition, we can track the movement of products in real time, precisely identifying the location and production phase of each item, which facilitates the preparation of orders and speeds up the shipping process.

The multiple monitoring data is stored in our Data Center, configured to provide us with dashboards from which we can view reports, analyze data, and make decisions at any time. Thanks to a bot, the software itself also automates the generation and sending of alarms, so that both the Engineering and Production departments are informed in real time of any incident.

Assembly, expeditions, and stock management

Digitization has simplified and accelerated our logistics operations. The advanced systems we have implemented ensure more efficient inventory management and timely delivery of orders to our customers. We have precise control over our raw material and finished product stock, which helps us economize on time and storage space, avoiding shortages as well as excess inventory.

After-sales and Commercial

In the commercial area, we strive to establish relationships based on trust and satisfaction. Digital transformation has allowed us to optimize that experience; with a new customer relationship management (CRM) system and analysis tools, we strive every day to better understand the needs of the market, so that we can offer solutions that meet the specific demands placed on us, complying with all functional, quality and performance requirements.

In after-sales service, digital tools help us to offer more agile and effective support; claims follow-up has become more efficient with technology, and predictive diagnostics also allow us to identify and resolve potential problems before they affect the customer's operations.

Our commitment to quality in the digital era

The 9001:2015 Standard certifies our commitment to quality, and it is also leading the way to digital transformation. For MRF, quality is much more than certification: it is an ongoing commitment to our customers' satisfaction, and in the digital age it requires the adoption of alternative, emerging and innovative technologies.

In this article, we have explored how digitalization impacts every aspect of our business, from design and engineering to production, assembly, or shipping, affecting the performance and capabilities of the entire organization. Thanks to the implementation of advanced systems and digital tools, we have improved our efficiency, optimized our processes and strengthened our position in the market.

This path is now unstoppable. We remain committed to continuous improvement.

Through the solid foundation provided by the 9001:2015 Standard and our ongoing investment in technology, we are preparing ourselves every day to face the challenges of the future and continue to offer quality products and services that meet our customers' expectations.
