A FURTHER STEP TOWARDS ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT AND CARBON FOOTPRINT REDUCTION.

A FURTHER STEP TOWARDS ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT AND CARBON FOOTPRINT REDUCTION.

Following an evaluation of our electricity consumption history we, at MRF, have decided to install an Ingeteam 'Ingecon Sun TL' Photovoltaic system utilising 460 W JA Solar Monocrystalline Panels coupled with a DC-AC Inverter.

We are installing this renewable energy system as part of our commitment to protect the environment and, by doing so, will reduce electricity consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and also the impact of the carbon footprint of our industrial processes.

We have calculated that by installing this 99.36 kwP solar photovoltaic system we will be able to 'self-consume' approximately 76% of the energy generated which will result in a 20% reduction of the electrical energy we currently consume.

Additionally, the annual production of this system is equivalent to 116.46 barrels of oil not being consumed, 10.54 vehicles being taken out of circulation and 50.08 tonnes of CO2 not being emitted!

In conclusion, the installation of solar panels is a big step towards a more sustainable future, not only for us at MRF but also for our planet.
